#ForteFemales At Home - Millie Allsopp

Introducing today's #ForteFemale, the stylish and creative entrepreneur Millie Allsopp. Millie recently launched a contemporary womenswear and handbag brand with her sister Kathryn, USISI SISTER. At the centre of the USISI SISTER DNA is a discerning woman who drives the brand’s focus to create versatile styles to carry her through the many aspects of contemporary life, all sold at an accessible price point.

Which place would you travel to now, if you could?

Sirikoi Lodge, Kenya. I think it's the most beautiful place on earth.

What's the first restaurant you're going to go to after the quarantine?

Locanda Ottoemezzo in London. Their Risotto in Forma Di Parmigiana comes in a parmesan rind and is spectacular!

What are your favourite beauty places or spa treatments?

Ruth Minoletti facials on Draycott Avenue, London. It's incredibly hard to get an appointment which is a testament to how effective her facials are!

What are you doing to stay physically active at the moment?

A combination of running and online yoga with Emily Cohen Health. I'm also lucky enough to be in the English countryside.

What helps you get to sleep if you are wired but tired?

Reading. Although my current book American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins is so gripping it's having the opposite effect.

What is your skincare regime during the lock-down (morning and evening)?

I’m a maximalist when it comes to skincare, especially now as I'm not leaving the house. I'm constantly testing new products, including cleansers, moisturisers, SPFs and an Azelaic acid in the morning. In the evening, I add a toner and Retinoid nightly serum to it. When my skin needs some extra hydration I use Irene Forte's Hyaluronic Acid Vials.

Do you have one evening or more a week where you spend time masking/pampering? What do you do?

Yes, I’m a big fan of face masks, one of my favourites are the Irene Forte Pistachio Face Mask for some deep moisturising.

What is the best beauty/skin advice you've ever been given?

Sun cream, all day every day.
