Verdura Società Agricola: Our Organic Farm in Sicily
Nestled in the heart of Sicily, Verdura Società Agricola is more than just a farm, this is where our philosophy of sustainability and quality comes to life. Picture a serene landscape bathed in golden sunlight, with the gentle hum of crickets and the scent of fresh herbs mingling with the sea breeze. This 230-hectare farm is home to 2,000 olive trees, which provide the golden oil essential to many of our skincare formulations. Among these groves are 20 lemon trees, their branches heavy with the refreshing citrus used in our products. Expanding further, our farm features 3,000 orange trees, offering the distinctive flavour and aroma of Sicilian oranges. The diverse landscape also includes pomegranates, almonds, prickly pear cacti, and a variety of vegetables and botanicals, all thriving under the Mediterranean sun.
Our commitment to organic farming means that everything is grown using traditional methods without synthetic chemicals or pesticides, ensuring purity and maintaining the ecological balance of the area.

Our farm-fresh ingredients harvested from Verdura Società Agricola are transported to our lab, where they are transformed into high-performance skincare formulations. This immediate transition from farm to lab captures the peak potency and freshness of each ingredient, ensuring that the essence of Mediterranean wellness is diffused into every bottle.

Our Prickly Pear Face Cream uses antioxidant-rich Sicilian Prickly Pear Polysaccharides to hydrate and protect the skin, while our Rose Face Oil nourishes with organic Olive Oil directly sourced from our Sicilian grove.
Partnering with Local Farmers
When ingredients aren't sourced from our organic farm in Sicily, we partner with local farmers throughout the island and the Trentino region to maintain the highest standards of quality. By sourcing locally, we not only support traditional farming methods but also contribute to the local economy, helping to preserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of Sicily and Italy as a whole. For instance, we source Pistachio Oil from a farm just 20 minutes from Verdura, organic and vegan White Wine from the Di Giovanna vineyard located 40 minutes away, and all water from the Madonie Regional Natural Park in northern Sicily. Additionally, we collaborate with farmers in the Trentino region, where our lab is based. We source upcycled Olive Seed Oil from Trento, upcycled Red Grape Skin from Emilia-Romagna, and Apples from Trentino-Alto Adige.
