We Grow our Own in Sicily

Many of our ingredients are grown on our organic farm at Verdura Resort in Sicily, where we use sustainable practices like rainwater harvesting and solar power. The farm spans 230 hectares and includes thousands of olive, lemon, and orange trees, as well as pomegranates, almonds, prickly pears, vegetables, and botanicals — all grown without chemical interference and in harmony with the seasons. This unique resource allows us to achieve a level of freshness and quality rarely found in skincare.

When ingredients can't be sourced from our farm, we partner with trusted local farmers, ensuring all our ingredients are vegan, sustainably sourced, and free from harmful pesticides.

We’re proud to share that all of our products are plant-based, certified by VeganOK, and formulated with upcycled ingredients to minimize waste. Our commitment to natural, effective skincare has been recognized by Yuka, with all products receiving an Excellent rating - most achieving a perfect score of 100/100. Yuka evaluates products based on ingredient safety and effectiveness, using scientific research and expert assessments to ensure unbiased and trustworthy results. This recognition underscores our dedication to excellence in both skincare and sustainability.

Circular Packaging

To tackle the cosmetic industry's single-use plastic problem, we use sustainable packaging wherever possible. Our boxes are made from 100% recycled paper and vegetable-based inks, while our glass bottles and jars contain up to 31% post-industrial recycled material and are fully recyclable. As a part of our commitment to sustainability, many of our products are refillable, featuring a bio-based plastic inner component that can be replaced.

We’ve partnered with First Mile to recycle these components, converting them into plastic pellets for use in car parts and pipes. For non-refillable products, our glass bottles, jars, lids, and pumps can be recycled through our First Mile program. This system allows us to minimize waste, keep materials in use, and provide a convenient, cost-free recycling solution for our customers. Learn more here.

By our artisans

We proudly support local artisans in every aspect of our brand. Our spatulas are crafted from sustainable Italian olive wood, and a talented ceramicist creates bespoke display materials and spa items. To mark the beginning and end of our treatments, we use handmade bells crafted by a bell maker whose family has been perfecting the craft since the 16th century. Our liners feature paintings of our organic farm, and these are just a few examples — each piece reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.
