Vitamin E and a Multi-Oil Omega Complex condition and boost lip hydration.

Vitamin E and a Multi-Oil Omega Complex strengthen the skin barrier, protecting the lips.

Vitamin E calms and soothes.

Our Pistachio Oil comes from a Sicilian supplier, and it contains omega 3, 6 & 9, which are the three most important omega fatty acids for the skin.

Omega fatty acids are a type of Essential Fatty Acid (EFA) which our bodies require for good health, but which we are unable to produce biologically. Topical application of omega fatty acids helps to: strengthen and smooth the skin’s surface; repair the skin barrier to improve moisture and elasticity; soothe irritated, sensitive and red skin; reduce UV-induced photo damage and signs of ageing; and nourish and protect skin against environmental damage moisture, regulate oil production and maintain elasticity.

As well as having its omega-rich benefits, Pistachio Oil is rich in Lutein and Vitamin E, which have antioxidant qualities, protecting the skin against free radicals and promoting cellular renewal.

We wish more brands would take a hint from Irene Forte's Pistachio Lip Balm and include Pistachio Oil in their lip treatments, too. It's one of several oils in the formula that provide nourishing omega fatty acids - the others being Olive, Borage Seed and Sweet Almond Oils - and if that weren't enough, Shea and Mango Butters offer a moisturizing barrier between your lips and icky environment damage.

“Natural skincare is a great philosophy, made better by scientific insight.”
Dr. Francesca Ferri

“Through my time spent working with spas, I knew that I wanted to create experiential skincare. I noticed that many natural brands were using ‘essential oils’ to fragrance their products, and these often have unpredictable allergenic effects. The attempts by some natural brands to avoid this issue by being unperfumed didn’t make sense as fragrance is a key component of the spa experience, and is vital in stimulating emotions. So, I teamed up with Dr. Francesca Ferri to create lab-formulated, allergen-screened fragrances, ensuring our products combine outstanding fragrance with outstandingly low allergenic potential.”
